In October, China exported 170,000 tons of alumina, a year-on-year increase of 141.7%. Cumulative exports from January to October amounted to 1.41 million tons, up 40.7% year-on-year.
In October, China imported 320,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%. From January to October, total imports were 3.17 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 32.4%.
