5052 aluminum discs have a range of excellent physical and chemical properties. Its chemical composition mainly includes aluminum, magnesium, silicon, copper, zinc, manganese, chromium, iron and other elements, among which magnesium is the main alloying element. In terms of physical properties, 5052 aluminum discs exhibit high strength, especially excellent fatigue resistance, while also having high plasticity and corrosion resistance. In addition, it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, but its plasticity is still good in the semi cold work hardening state, and lower in the cold work hardening state. 5052 aluminum discs have good weldability and can be welded using resistance welding and atomic hydrogen welding, but there may be a tendency to form crystalline cracks during argon arc welding. Its application scope is wide, including transportation vehicles, ship sheet metal parts, aircraft fuel tanks, etc.
